Two Preconference workshops on 'Cloud Computing and Data Analytics' and 'Rain water Harvesting are being origanised simultaneously on 19th December 2016.
In the recent years we are witnessing unprecedented growth in unstructured digital data and this is accelarated further by the rapid increase of 'Internet of Things'. Cloud based approaches have emerged to handle these huge volume of data sets. This workshop focuses on exploring various research oppertunities and challenges in these areas.
Kerala has two rainy seasons with severe water scarcity in many areas between February and mid May every year. There are many success stories of solving water scarcity through Sustainable water use (Rainwater Harvesting). This workshop covers in detail the concepts and practice of RWH and will come out with a solution for the water shortage in the campus and RWH issues raised by participants.
